Seelster Farms would welcome a motivated, self-starter who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team to perform daily chores for a busy breeding operation. Tasks will vary with the season. Anything from feeding and daily turn-out, to foaling mares and yearling preparation for sale. Fair wages to start, a 3 month probation period and good benefits program follow 6 months of employment.

Seasonal Yearling Sale Preparation Position
Seelster Farms in Lucan, Ontario is currently hiring for a seasonal Yearling Sale Preparation position, with the potential for full-time employment after the sale season. We're looking for an experienced and dependable individual to join our team in preparing young Standardbred horses for the upcoming 2025 yearling sale.
This hands-on role involves daily handling, grooming, and training of yearlings, and requires strong horsemanship skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be physically capable, reliable, and available to work 6 days per week, including full availability during sale week: October 13, 14, and 15.
